Today, I needed to disable HTTP authentication for cPanel, WHM and Webmail, and I did not find much issue on the subject on the internet.
Finally, I figured it out by myself. Follow the Steps Below:
- Login to WHM
- Click on Tweak Settings
- Check the box Disable Http Authentication for cPanel/WebMail/WHM Logins (forces cookie authentication)
Now, if you go to yourdomain.com/cpanel , or yourdomain.com/webmail, you will be presented with a web form instead of the default htaccess form.
I hope this helped!
